Tally on mobile — your books, live on any phone
Nexvia Books puts your TallyPrime data on your phone — party ledgers, outstanding, day book, stock, GST invoices and financial statements, updated live to about two minutes. A small connector on the PC where Tally runs does the work; you just open the app on any device.
On iPhone, sign up on the web first. The iOS app opens straight to sign‑in and can’t create a workspace — once yours exists, it signs in like any other device. Android can do either.

See your Tally data on mobile, without moving your books
You don't have to be at the office computer to check your numbers anymore. Nexvia Books mirrors your TallyPrime books to your own secure cloud, so your ledgers, receivables, day book and invoices are on your phone the moment you want them — at a customer's shop, in a meeting, or at home.
Your Tally stays the source of truth. A Windows connector installs on the machine where Tally runs and syncs changes to the cloud about every two minutes while both are online. Viewing your books is a read operation. Authorised app entries and supported contact updates can write back to Tally.
Everything from your Tally — in your pocket
Open any device and your live books are right there, faithful to Tally down to the rupee.
Ledgers & outstanding
Every party ledger with running balance, receivables and payables classified exactly like Tally — sorted, searchable, tap to open a full statement.
GST tax invoices
Each voucher renders as a full GST tax invoice — HSN summary, per-line tax, e-Way & IRN details — ready to view, print or share on WhatsApp.
Day book & stock
Scroll the day book for any date range, check stock items and quantities, and open any voucher — the same view you have in Tally.
Financial statements
Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Trial Balance pulled straight from Tally’s own reports, per period — they tie to the rupee.
Record into Tally
Create sales, purchases, receipts and payments on your phone; each is validated against your own ledgers, then posts into Tally as a proper voucher.
WhatsApp reminders
Nudge overdue parties with one tap — or on a schedule — with the party’s full account statement attached as a PDF.
Up and running in minutes
No migration, no re-keying. Install the connector once and sign in anywhere.
Install the connector
A one-click app on the PC where TallyPrime runs. It signs in as your account and starts syncing your books.
Your data flows to the cloud
Companies, ledgers, stock, vouchers and statements sync automatically — only what changed, every couple of minutes.
Open your books anywhere
Sign in on any phone or laptop and your live books are there, with a PIN guarding access on every device.
More than a viewer
Most "Tally on mobile" tools stop at read-only dashboards. Nexvia Books also lets you act.
- Record entries from your phone — sales, purchase, receipt and payment vouchers post back into Tally after validation against your real ledgers.
- Collections built in — WhatsApp payment reminders with statement PDFs, UPI links and one-tap receipts against specific bills.
- Faithful to Tally — GST invoices, Bill-wise outstanding and financial statements match your Tally screen, not an approximation.
- Multi-company, multi-user — all your firms in one workspace, with per-user permissions so staff see only what you allow.
- Access controls — each workspace is isolated, device sign-in is protected, and user permissions control who can view or record.
- Works with any Tally setup — a normal Windows PC, a headless server, or TallyPrime Cloud Access on Linux.
What you get on the phone, feature by feature
Tap any row to open it. The full feature index covers the rest of the product.
Your books, on every device
Everything TallyPrime holds — ledgers, bills, stock, invoices and the financial statements — readable on a phone, tablet or laptop, live to within about two minutes.
Home dashboard
Receivable, payable, cash and today’s sales the moment you open the app.
The first screen answers the questions you actually open the app for: who owes you, whom you owe, how much cash and bank you are holding, and what sold today. Every tile drills down — tap Receivable and you land in the ledger list already filtered.
- Sales & receipts charted for the last six months
- Cash & profit card that opens the Profit & Loss
- Top receivables, top payables and top items by value
- Every figure stamped “Updated X ago”, so you always know how fresh it is
Customise dashboard — 55 cards, 6 ready layouts
55 cards across sales, cash, receivables and stock, with 6 ready layouts.
Personalise your dashboard layout. Tap the profile avatar in the top-right and choose Customise dashboard (or press Ctrl/Cmd+K). Drag cards to rearrange them, drag a card’s corner to resize it, or pick one of 6 ready layouts. The My to-do list card lists your tasks with how many days each is overdue, and admins can switch to the whole team.
- Profile menu → Customise dashboard: Opens the layout studio
- Drag handle: Drag cards into your preferred arrangement
- Resize: drag a card’s bottom-right corner — width from a quarter to the full row, height from compact to tallest (height only on a phone)
- Card menu (⋯): Resize card or remove it from your view
- Add cards: Browse 55 cards across Sales, Receivables, Cash Flow, Stock, and Add-ons
- Ready layouts: One tap (Balanced, Chasing money, Stock focus, Accountant) sets up your board instantly
- My to-do list card: “Overdue by N days”, “Due today”, tick to mark done; admins switch between Mine and Team
- Save changes: Saves your custom layout across all your devices (Discard throws the changes away)
Simple or Advanced — you choose how much Books shows
Simple shows the everyday choices; Advanced adds extra settings, filters and reports for more control.
Books starts Simple: every screen shows the choices most businesses need. Turn on Advanced when you want more control — extra settings, filters and reports, such as your own ageing buckets, reminder stages, customer rules for the catalogue or access templates. It is each person’s own choice, so the owner can work in Advanced while staff keep Simple.
Nothing you already use is ever hidden: a setting that is switched on stays on screen in Simple too. Search finds every advanced option even while it is hidden — the result says “This is an advanced option”, and one tap turns Advanced on and opens it.
- Settings → “How should Books look?”: Simple (recommended) or Advanced
- Profile menu → Advanced options: On / Off in one tap (also Settings → Appearance)
- A short “What’s this?” next to every advanced section explains it in one line
- A screen with options tucked away shows one quiet line with Show advanced options
- Search (Ctrl/Cmd + K, or Settings → Find a setting) finds hidden options
Party ledgers & balances
Every ledger with its live closing balance, classified exactly the way Tally classifies it.
All your ledgers in one searchable list with the closing balance against each. Receivable and payable are worked out the same way Tally works them out — asset-nature parties and Dr-balance liability parties come out as receivable — so the totals match the screen you already trust.
- Type chips: Parties, Cash & Bank, Income, Expenses, Taxes, Capital & Loans
- Show as List or Groups — Groups opens your Tally group tree: tap a group for its sub-groups and ledgers, each with its count and Dr/Cr total. Each person picks once and it is remembered
- Filter by Tally group — search hundreds of groups by name — or to non-zero balances only, and it remembers your choice
- Search that finds “Prime Switchgear Co.” when you type “co prime”
The party page — statement, bills, items
One page per customer: running statement, bill-by-bill outstanding, and what they buy.
Open a party and the closing balance sits at the top with GSTIN and credit-period chips beside it. Three tabs cover everything you would otherwise ask your accountant for.
- Ledger statement — any date range, quick presets, or “Since last nil balance”. Every row opens the bill behind it.
- Bills — for parties Tally keeps bill by bill: Pending, Cleared and Brought forward, sorted by most overdue, newest, oldest or amount. Post-dated cheques are marked so they are never mistaken for cleared money.
- By item — what this party has actually bought or sold, item by item.
- Call the party in one tap; two numbers ask which one.
Day Book — every voucher
Every voucher for any date range, filtered by your own Tally voucher types.
The day book, but usable on a phone. Date presets cover Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, This month, Last month and each financial year, and the voucher-type dropdown lists your exact Tally types — including custom ones like “SALES NEW”.
- Extra filters for party name and a minimum / maximum amount
- A totals strip: vouchers, sales, purchases, receipts, payments
- Tap any row for the full bill
The full GST tax invoice
A complete tax invoice with private POD, delivery slip and payment photos attached to the bill.
Open any bill and you get the complete tax invoice, not a summary: buyer and consignee blocks, per-line HSN and tax, the HSN-wise tax summary a GST audit expects, amount in words, your bank details and the signature block.
And the bill adds up. Freight, loading, packing or any other charge ledger you billed the customer prints as its own line with its own tax rate, so the taxable value, the tax and the grand total agree with each other — and with the same invoice printed from Tally.
- Charges are read from the bill itself, so whatever your book calls them — “LOADING & OTHER CHARGES”, “Freight Charges- Sale” — is what prints
- A charge billed after tax prints below the tax rows and is never folded into the taxable value
- Round off prints the way Tally prints it — Less: when it reduces the bill
- A PDF layout toolbar — portrait or landscape, and switches for the tax breakup, declaration & signature, and bank details
- Godown and batch columns appear only on books that use them; delivery challans show a Challan no. column
- View, print, share through your phone’s own share sheet, or have Nexvia WhatsApp it to the customer — the emailed and WhatsApped copies carry the same charge lines
- Bill photos & files keeps proof of delivery (POD), delivery slips / chitti and payment confirmations with the bill — photos, PDFs or any other file — including historical bills and queued entries
- Use Attach file (any format) or Take photo, then open it from the bill. Every file is shrunk before it uploads to save space. Attachments stay private to people who can view that bill; attaching needs the separate photo permission. They are not included in public share links or invoice PDFs
- Invoices raised in a foreign currency show the foreign amount, the exchange rate and the rupee value side by side; totals and GST stay in rupees
- Separate Bill To, Ship To and Dispatch From addresses print exactly as recorded on the voucher
- Item names, quantities, rates and amounts print in bold, so a laser print stays readable
Items, stock and movement
Closing quantity and value per item, with month-by-month movement and godown split.
Every stock item with its closing quantity and value, grouped by stock group or category, searchable, and filterable to “only items with stock”. On a multi-godown book, godown chips scope the whole page to one location.
- Item page shows Closing stock, Inwards, Outwards and Net for the financial year
- Month-by-month movement that carries its running balance: Opening → In / Out → Net → Closing
- A “Stock by godown” card, and any month expands into the vouchers behind it
Reports — Tally-native statements and 70+ report tables
Balance Sheet, P&L and Trial Balance straight from Tally, plus a searchable library of registers, stock, tax and payroll reports.
The Reports page opens with six plain questions — Who owes me, What I owe, What sold, Stock value, Profit and GST — then five tabs — Overview, Sales, Parties, Stock and Financials — each a set of panels that open into the full report. Reports that exist because your Tally uses a feature (orders, batches, BOMs, cost centres) are listed on their own line, Also in your Tally. The statements are not re-computed from ledger balances: they are Tally’s own Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Trial Balance, fetched per period, so they match your Tally screen exactly.
Further down, Report tables → Open the list opens a library of about 70 report tables — day book and voucher registers, ledger and group reports, party dues, stock and batch views, cost centres, budgets against actuals, bank views, GST books, TDS and TCS, and Tally payroll views. Search by name or pick a category, choose your columns and filters, save a view, and download.
- Period chips on the statements: This FY, Last FY, All time. A “Totals match” chip shows the two sides agree
- Outstanding bills with ageing buckets (30/60/90, 15/30/45, 7/15/30 or your own), by bill date or due date, filtered by group, salesman or a single party
- A bill list PDF of open bills to send a party — date, bill number, amount, due date and days overdue, with subtotals
- Group outstanding — pick a Tally group and see each sub-group, party-wise and bill-wise, with a total under each group; one PDF or Excel of the whole group (also from Ledgers → a group → Outstanding PDF)
- Quotations, proforma invoices and optional vouchers are never counted as money owed
- Top customers, top items, monthly sales, inactive customers and items, stock ageing, reorder and cost centres
- Report tables download all rows or only the rows you select, to Excel, PDF or CSV
- TDS and TCS register (admins): every TDS and TCS entry in your Tally, party by party, for a quarter or a year — PAN problems flagged, and a download for your CA. It reads Tally; it does not calculate TDS or file returns
- Make a report (Reports → Make a report; on the phone More → Make a report): it is a chat — type or say what you want — “pichle mahine ki sale party wise, cash ke alawa”, “sales, purchase, receipts and payments of a party, every entry, separate tables, for the parties I select” — or tap a chip. Then keep talking to change the SAME report — “only Hyderabad”, “by month”, “top 10”, “without cash”, “add receipts too”, “side by side”, “last month instead” — each change is a new version you can go back to, the bot asks when a name fits two parties, and every report has a Parties and a Time frame selector. Every condition is a chip you can remove, and Undo steps back. Save it with a name and a time frame (This month, Last month, This FY, fixed dates or “ask me each time”), find it again by searching its name, change the dates right on the report, and send it as a Nexvia-branded Excel or PDF, or the PDF on WhatsApp. Tap any row to see what is under it — Sales opens its bills, Receipts its vouchers, a party its entries, an entry the full voucher — or tap “Show entries under each row” to list them all at once (in the Excel and PDF too). Pin a report to the dashboard. Simple asks are answered free by built-in rules; when one needs Nexvia AI, the price comes first — the AI picked for the job and “About … Nex Coins — never more than …” — and nothing runs until you tap Go ahead. “Explain it” says what stands out in the report, and “Send automatically” sends it by itself (both below). Re-running a saved report costs nothing, and salesmen see only their own parties
Reports that send themselves — daily, weekly or monthly
Any saved report goes out by itself on WhatsApp or e-mail — to you, your team or your CA — with a fresh time frame each time.
Make a report, then tap Send automatically: choose How often (every day — with “Skip Sundays” — every week on a day you pick, or every month on a date or the last day), the Time, and the Time frame each time — yesterday, last week, last month, this month so far, the last quarter, this financial year — worked out fresh for every copy. Send it by WhatsApp (the PDF) and/or e-mail (PDF, Excel or both), to yourself and — for owners and admins — team members or any number or e-mail, such as your CA or a partner, up to 10 people.
Sent automatically lists every report that goes out by itself with its last send — “Last sent … to you on WhatsApp”, “Partly sent — 1 of 2 went” or “Could not send”, each with the reason, including WhatsApp’s own “could not deliver”. Pause, resume, send now, change or remove it any time. It always runs as the person who set it up, so it carries only what their access allows.
- “Send a test now” sends one copy in about a minute
- E-mail is free; each WhatsApp uses the usual per-message coins, after your free messages
- After five failed tries in a row it pauses itself and says why
- Ask in your own words — “roz subah 9 baje bhejo”, “mail it to me every Friday”
AI with the price shown first
When a report needs Nexvia AI, you see which AI and about how many coins — and the most it can cost — before anything runs.
Most report asks are answered free by built-in rules. When one needs Nexvia AI, a card shows the AI picked for the job — Quick AI, Standard AI or Strong AI, sized to how hard the ask is — the price, such as “About 0.43 Nex Coins — never more than 2.68”, and your balance. Nothing runs until you tap Go ahead; “Not now” charges nothing. The charge is the AI’s real price plus 10%, and never more than the figure you agreed to.
Explain it reads the report on screen and says what stands out — the biggest shares, unusual jumps, what to check — priced first the same way, usually well under one coin. Party and item names are replaced with codes on your own device before anything goes to the AI.
- Free during the free trial; a plan’s free AI report turns are counted on the same card
- Re-running a saved report costs nothing
Sales by customer and month
Every customer down the side, every month across the top — with last year alongside if you want it.
One row per customer and one column per month, for up to 24 months. Show net revenue, invoice total, tax or the number of bills, and compare with the same dates last year or the period just before. Save the view you like and export it.
- Choose what to measure: net revenue, invoice total, tax, rounding or voucher count
- Compare with the same dates last year, or the immediately preceding period
- Find it under Reports → Report tables → Open the list
Order reports — ordered vs delivered vs pending
Every sales and purchase order with what has actually been delivered against it, item by item.
Two reports — Sales Orders and Purchase Orders — showing each order’s ordered, delivered and pending value with a percentage done. Delivery is never a figure somebody typed: it is worked out live from the invoices that reference the order, so correcting a bill in Tally corrects the report on the next sync.
They read the orders typed in TallyPrime as well as the ones raised in the app — which is most books, because most people still raise their orders in Tally.
- A Show: By order / By item switch — one row per order, or one row per order line with quantities
- Tap an order and you get each bill it was adjusted against, with that bill’s own items and quantities — not just the bill number and its total
- Every order line can carry a plain description, the way Tally carries a note under a line, and it shows on the report and on the drill-down
- The cards only appear on a book that actually raises orders
Labour Dues report
Track worker piece-rate wage liability from manufacturing batches, separated by credited vs pending.
Audit piece-rate wages earned by workers in production entries. Shows worker by worker what has been credited into their Tally wage liability ledger versus what is still pending posting for payout.
- Worker filter: Filter by specific worker ledger or view all
- Date range presets: This Month, Last Month, Custom dates
- In Tally vs Not in Tally yet: wages already credited in Tally versus entries still waiting
- Export: One-tap Excel and PDF download for payroll processing
BOM Procurement planning
Calculate raw material shortages against production targets using bill of materials.
Plan raw material purchasing for upcoming manufacturing runs. Enter target finished goods quantities, and Nexvia Books calculates required raw materials against current godown stock, highlighting shortages.
- Target production entry: Enter quantities for planned batches
- Real-time shortage calculation: Compares required BOM items against live stock
- Purchase requisition export: Export shortage schedule for supplier ordering
Masters & the structure radar
Browse your Tally structure, and see which Tally features your book actually uses.
An expandable browser for the way your books are actually set up — account groups and ledgers, stock groups and items, categories, units, godowns, cost categories and centres.
The “How your Tally is set up” card goes further: it detects which Tally capabilities this book genuinely uses — price levels, bill-wise ledgers, godowns, batches, cost centres, voucher classes, discounts, orders and challans — and tells you what is being carried across and what is not.
The app follows your Tally. Entry types your Tally has not used recently wait under More types in Record entry, the Disc % column shows only when you give line discounts, and a report like Sales orders or Batch-wise stock appears only when your Tally has that data. Nothing is removed, and a Show every feature switch in Settings puts everything back on top. If your Tally already makes e-invoices, the add-on list says so first.
Catalogue with photos
Your product list as a visual catalogue you can send to customers on WhatsApp.
Items with their own photographs, taken on the phone or picked from the gallery. Quantity steppers on each card build a draft order you can turn into a real one.
One arrow folds everything else away — the buttons, the search box, the filters — so the products get the whole screen. The closed bar still says what is in force: where you are standing, any search term, and how many of your items you are looking at.
- Categories drill down on screen, as deep as your Tally goes — a brand, its sub-group, and its sub-group’s sub-group, with a breadcrumb back
- Tick three groups as a saved filter and those three become the list you navigate — pick one and it drills into that
- Share any item — photo, rate and details — straight to a customer on WhatsApp
- Choose the price shown: with or without GST, from the last price charged or from a Tally price level
- Hide whole groups or single items from the catalogue
- Share PDF: tick whole groups, sub-groups or single items, choose what to show — photo, alias, HSN, GST, price, MRP, packing, stock — as a grid or a list, then download or share the PDF. Your choices are remembered
- A shared PDF lists only the items that person is allowed to see, and prices only for people allowed to see prices
Customer share link
A private, no-login ledger page you can send a customer so they stop asking.
Generate a private link for one party and send it. They see their own balance, transactions and outstanding bills — no app, no login, nothing to install — and a “Pay via UPI” QR if you have configured one.
- Expiry you choose: never, 7, 30 or 90 days
- “Stop old links and make a new one” stops every old link at once
- Due dates stay hidden on shared statements unless you switch them on
Multi-company
Every firm you run in one workspace, switched from the header.
One workspace holds as many Tally companies as you sync. The company name in the header is the switcher, and effectively every screen — reports, reminders, users, settings — is scoped to whichever company is selected.
AI Accountant
Ask where something is, or ask a question of your own numbers.
A built-in assistant that knows the app. Asking “where do I…” or “how do I…” is always free — 25 AI answers a month for each person, then the simple help. Questions answered from your actual books, and the Excel or PDF files it builds for you, use Nex Coins — charged at cost plus a small margin, and only when it succeeds. Every reply states whether it was free or what it cost.
Ask it for a report — “sales this month party wise”, “bills older than 60 days” — and it builds the report straight from your books, the same as Make a report. It works with your own access: a salesman sees only his own parties.
- Ask by voice from your phone: “Hey Siri, ask Nexvia Books” on iPhone, or “Hey Google, open Nexvia Assistant” on Android, then say your question (add “in <company>” if you have more than one)
- The same report answers come on WhatsApp through Ask Books on WhatsApp
- Ask in English or Hinglish — “report kaise banaye”, “report roz subah WhatsApp pe automatic bhejna hai”
Use your own AI — ChatGPT, Claude and others
Connect the AI you already pay for to your books — read-only, for one company or all of them.
In Settings → Connect your own AI, make a gate for one company or all your companies and paste its link into your AI app — Claude (a custom connector, any plan) or ChatGPT (a paid plan, on the website), or any tool that speaks MCP or a plain web API. Then ask in your own words: “Which customers owe me the most?”, “Sales by month this year”.
Your AI reads only what your own login may see — never another business — and it can never change anything. It costs no Nex Coins: your own AI subscription does the thinking. The link and code are shown once, every call is logged, and Remove stops a gate at once.
- Up to 10 gates per person; 60 questions a minute, 3,000 a day
- Owners and admins can make gates; a staff member can once an admin turns on “Connect their own AI”
- Owners see the gates their team made
Ask Books on WhatsApp
Message Nexvia on WhatsApp for a balance, a ledger statement or pending bills — within your own access.
Save your WhatsApp number once — you can do it yourself in Settings, or an admin can add it for you in Users — and you get a welcome message. From then on, message that number for a party’s balance, a ledger statement PDF for the period you choose, pending bills with a reminder you can forward, who owes you the most, whom you owe the most, a business summary or the stock of an item.
Every reply is worked out as you, with your own permissions: a person who cannot see a party in the app cannot ask about it on WhatsApp either.
- Tap “Show menu”, or just type a question such as “Balance of Sharma Traders”
- Ask for any report in plain words — it is built from your books, like Make a report
- Statement PDFs for a period list, a date picker or dates you type
- Change or remove your number any time from Settings
